While this does not fall under the NCE, Microsoft is also raising the prices for individual licenses of its six popular subscriptions.

Select the NCE commitment that suits your organization’s needs

With the price changes from March 1, 2022 already taking place, the next aspect that should factor into your decision is the length of the commitment. Microsoft NCE offers three options to pay for your licenses and services with new options for increasing, decreasing, and reassigning licenses. Here are the new NCE options:

Month-to-Month

  • 20% increase on each license
  • Monthly payments based on the tools and number of licenses you need
  • Increase, decrease, or reassign licenses at any time
  • Prices are subject to future increase at any time during the term

Annual Commitment

  • Make a one-time payment or pay monthly for a set number of licenses for 12 months
  • Increase license counts at any time
  • Decrease license counts ONCE per year (at the time of renewal)
  • Reassign existing licenses at any time during the term
  • Prices are locked during the term and are not subject to future increases

Multi-Year Commitment

  • Make a one-time payment or pay monthly for a set number of licenses for 36 months
  • Increase license counts at any time
  • Decrease license counts ONCE per 3 years (at the time of renewal)
  • Reassign existing licenses at any time during the term
  • Prices are locked during the term and are not subject to future increases
